Weight hole reactions.
« on: March 05, 2006, 03:28:18 PM »
Im just looking for some general information on weight holes.  For instance, how does adding a weight hole change the over all reaction? and How would filling in an existing weight hole change the reaction of a ball?

thanks

From my personal experience with  V2 power.  After drilling, the ball had 3/16 side weight.  It was a love / hate relationship.  When I got on the right condition, it was lights out.  Most of the time it was in the bag.  It had a soft backend reaction and it was speed sensitive.
I had my pro shop fill the weight hole and drill it out to get 7/8 side weight.  Completely different ball.  Now it finishes hard whereas before it half finished.  Shot 769/1002 with it the first time after changing the weights.  Just the visual of how it was reacting in the mid lane and the backends was a confidence booster.
