RICO Drilled Hammer Toxic?
« on: January 25, 2012, 03:51:14 AM »
Ok so first off, I am a down and in Stroker, throw a consistent 14.5 mph, and have decent mechanics.  I have quite low revs, and a really high track.  I have always seemed to fair better with pin down, stacked leverage symmetrical balls, because they appear to get into a roll sooner.  The problem is that the balls I have drilled this way have always been a lower grit solid, so many times they burn up and I leave weak hits.  Same for the higher grits and pearls... they have always been pin up drills where it never seems like the ball gets in a roll for me...

I do not know my PAP, but I do have a new driller that I will be working with in the near future who promised to watch me throw and get my PAP and help me layout some equipment.

My favorite reaction is the Faball Blue Hammer.  Thats what I started out with in the early '90s, and I have yet to find that reaction but with a stronger cover.

That said I have a plugged Toxic that has less than a full game on it.  I'm thinking with all that I have read about the Rico drill that this combination could provide the fit that I have always wanted.  A nice smooth reaction on a long strong pearl.  Any thoughts?

And on a side note... is the reason that the Faball Hammers were so smooth is that essentially they are all drilled "RICO" to start with???

Looking for any 14lb Hammers, particularly older oddball stuff.
So if you have a 14lb Diesel or Vicious or Blade laying around shoot me a PM
