Correct RevO...

Due to injury, amputation or other means, this person bowled with their index and ring finger.

I have drilled balls like this for people before.

I drilled a ball for a left handed customer Tuesday.  He had been in an electrical accident and just had stumps for all fingers on his left hand except the thumb and pinkie.  Drilled it for a conventional fit using those two.  --  JohnP

Vinnie and the guys apparently drill many a ball for that bowler because over the last three + years I've seen a lot of that drilling.
