would it be wrong of me....
« on: April 30, 2005, 03:54:06 PM »
i have a DEFINITE favorite layout...pin above bridge, cg maybe half inch off midline. seems like any ball with this drill on it i throw better than any ball w/a  diff drill. question is...would it be wrong of me to just drill everything i've got like this, and build an arsenal based on different covers/cover preps rather than layouts? are there any problems that i might run into? let me know.

Many bowlers do this. It can hinder your game with the extreme heavy oil (which....how often will you really see that?). Other than that different coverstocks ie..reactive, particle with different surface preps should definately provide the different looks on the lane that you will need.
