I purchased a Super Carbide Bomb tonight from the local proshop. I want to replace my HPH and also to try a different drill pattern. So, I decided to go CG Axis, that would put the pin about 3 1/4" from my axis point. The operator laid out the ball cg axis with the pin ON the val. I said no I don't like that and told him to swing the layout to put the fingers next to the pin (thereabouts). He said it doesn't matter if the pin is on the VAL or towards my fingers as long as it is 3 1/4" from my axis it won't matter. I said it does matter. Am I wrong?? He has been to a boat load of drilling seminars and I have been to none. What do you guys think??

If you have Lanes1 drilling specs,if not then print it off and show him how Lanes1 have it.

Andrew,
I believe it does matter, a lot. If in doubt, please email Lane#1 and send a generic email to Mo Pinel via the Morich website, for advice.

I kinda figured that is what would happen. It is still laid out cg axis but the pin is by the fingers. I appreciate everyones input.
Thanks,
Andrew
