drilling a jazz
« on: November 11, 2008, 07:30:22 AM »
im looking at drilling a jazz i think this week just wondering what kind of layout i should put on it. i was thinking maybe a label. sorry i dont know much about layouts, just the very basics. my pap is 5 7/8" even. i have a scout and blue vibe that i would like to fit the jazz inbetween. the scout is drilled at 90* so pin under ring with CG in. the blue vibe is 135* i think. its the #4 drilling for high trackers on hammers site.
http://hammerbowling.com/tech_info/detail.php?drilling=Symmetric%20Core%20Drilling%20Instructions

my specs: lefty, high rev player about 450-475 rpms. 15.7mph ball speed.

i have been having trouble late in tournament where my blue vibe is just too early and my scout still doesnt have a good reaction and carries. i think i am going to dull the scout a little but i think the jazz is the overall answer.

sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for everything

Dont have as many rev's as you(375 or so) an I drilled one 51/2'x 4 with pin under my middle finger. The ball goes looong with a good turn off the spot. Its my weakest ball under my Liberator.Plays real well off the 3-4 board on any house shot or short oil.It also worked well on the cheetha pattern this summer at 3-4 at the brek point, playing straight up the lane.I have two others to drill when that one dyes.A very overlooked ball
