Title: Collision
Post by: BallReviews-scodaddy21 on April 14, 2022, 08:51:16 AM
The DV8 Collision is a high-performance polished hybrid bowling ball that performs as good as it looks going down the lane. This ball introduces us to the Collision core and combines it with the Inciter Max Continuation coverstock which creates length with the strong backend motion that bowlers desire. The components of this ball make it ideal for medium to heavy oil conditions.

PICTURES AND/OR VIDEOS

I purchased this one at the recommendation of a friend who has used his since release.

Before using this one I knocked the gloss off slightly as I wanted a slightly earlier read on the lane.  At roughly 3000 what I saw was exactly what I had hoped for.

The asymmetric core helps the ball tip earlier than my symmetric pearl reactives, but still finishes quite hard, but not so angular that you can't tell where it's going to finish.  I know that it's labeled as a hybrid cover, but shiny hybrids react like pearls and dull hybrids look like solids on the lane for me.  Surface dictates length.

The color combination combined with an envious reaction to friction on the lane translates into some great pin carry, even some messengers for a fairly soft handed bowler.
