Ball Motion: Finished with a High Gloss Polish, the Misfit skids very easily through the front part of the lane to the breakpoint before changing directions for a strong continuous backend that cuts through the pins on medium dry to medium oily lane conditions.
Reaction Setup: The DV8 Misfit can be drilled using the standard drilling techniques developed for bowling balls with asymmetric cores.
Ball Maintenance: To reduce oil absorption and remove dirt from the surface of the ball, clean your ball with a cleaner designed for reactive bowling balls.
Warranty: Look. We don’t screw around. DV8 bowling balls have been manufactured to the highest standards of workmanship and material. COMMENTS
The Misfit is so much more than an entry level ball. While it is listed as the entry level ball for the DV8 brand, this ball performs better than many mid-range balls I have thrown from other companies. The ball packs an abundance of performance. My strongest drilled Misfit is quickly becoming my favorite ball. When this ball starts to make its move, it does not quit. I can play from the deepest angles on the lane and the ball rolls through the 8 pin every single time. Being a high speed player I usually have a hard time getting a ball to go this far down the lane and still make the strong angular move this ball makes. It is amazing how this ball goes through the pins. On a fresh THS this ball has slightly too much push, but when the shot breaks down this ball has no problems. I can see this ball being my go to ball on some lower volume, longer sport patterns.
Likes: The ball motion through the pins that this ball creates. And the amazing Lime Green and White color!
