Mess up your competition with the DV8 Vandal Smash! The Vandal Smash bowling ball pairs the Vandal Asymmetric core with the Composite Flip Solid coverstock to provide an awesome all-purpose ball motion. This ball has a more powerful hook motion when facing lane oil and it has a backend flip that gives it more total hook than its predecessor, the original Vandal, specifically on heavier oil.

The Vandal Smash is a great Medium to Heavy Oil ball compared to the Vandal, the Smash starts up early and has a great hook motion. I drilled my up 45x5x30 OTB I liked the motion very smooth down the lane and moved off the spot very strong with continued movement through the pins. This ball compliments the original Vandal when you need that stronger movement on the back end

The Vandal Smash. What can I say about this ball. The Vandal Pearl is my favorite mall for medium conditions but I found it to be not enough when there is hevier oil volumes.
The Vandal Smash is the answer to that. The Vandal Smash gives room for error on the erranr shots to the right . It will recover with dependability . The Vandal Smash is earlier than the original Vandal and you don't lose that strong hook motion on the heavire patterns. The Smash compliments the original nicely and whn other balls are too strong.

BALL MOTION
This ball is a medium hooking solid cover stock. It has a very smooth motion.
COMMENTS
Vandal Smash is the solid cover stock version of the original Vandal. If you liked the original Vandal this ball is a must have. If you have not had a Vandal yet you are missing the boat. This is a great all around ball. I can use it on house shots as well as sport shots. It has a smooth predicable motion and hits like a truck. This has become the first ball out of my bag.

My name is Bryan L. Williams and I am a PBA Member and DV8 Regional Pro. The Vandal Smash is an incredible complement to the original Vandal!
So how good is the Vandal Smash? The first game I threw with it was a 300! Like the ball motion of the original Vandal, the Vandal Smash has the same incredible ball motion that has wowed bowlers everywhere. This ball also maintains its motion at the break point and through the pins, with incredible predictability, but more hitting power and hook at the breakpoint. This asymmetrical ball is very clean and consistent. This is another ball that can be used on virtually every condition you can imagine, without losing roll or hitting power! The layout on my ball is 40x4x30 and the surface out of the box.
This ball can have the surface be altered to work on ANY condition and you will be able to score. The DV8 Vandal Smash is another great ball in the DV8 line. If you don’t have one by now, you are just not bowling!!! DV8…Tonight We Bowl! www.dv8bowling.com; #dv8bowling

This new version of the popular Vandal delivers more hook and a stronger backend the the original vandal. This ball is very aggressive down the lane and drives thru the pins This ball is very aggressive and will fit any type of bowlers style on a variety of patterns. A must ball in a bowlers arsenal.

The Vandal Smash is the second ball in the Vandal line. The new Vandal Smash pairs the original Vandal Asymmetric core with the purple and navy Composite Hook Solid cover. This new Vandal gives us the same Vandal hook shape as the pearl but allows us to use it on higher volume patterns. I like the original Vandal (Pearl) for it's hook shape and overall playability, but found myself wanting a similar shape with a stronger footprint in oil when the lanes are a little slick. So to say my wish was granted is an understatement. I really like the added traction of the solid cover on the 7:1 ratio 25.5mL pattern I was on. I had more room for error on balls that missed wide of target than I am use to on this pattern. The added traction allowed me to be firm with my speed with no fears that it would scoot through the breakpoint. The Vandal Smash adds more versatility to the line and better bridges the gap between the Grudge line and the Deviants/Divas. The Vandal Smash can easily be the first ball out of your bag and will make a great 1-2 punch with the Vandal Pearl.

Here is the newest addition in the Vandal serie, the Vandal Smash. This ball uses the same core as the original Vandal but have a dull and much stronger coverstock.
I drilled this ball 50x4x40 with the pin above the ring finger. On the lane I play about the same area as the Radical Xeno but the motion is completely different. The ball is cleaner in the front and is much sharper on the backend.
I played this ball on the great wall of China (48ft) last week and this ball was a beast. I was able to miss inside and because the cover is strong it made no difference. I was also able to miss right and the ball was recovering from far away. Even on house shots, the ball is clean through the front and gives a great backend.
To conclude, if you liked the Vandal, you gonna fall in love with the Smash. This ball is really great in oil.

Drilled my Vandal Smash 55x5x45 (my faithful pin up layout for asyms) with the intention of having something a step below my Grudge/Guru Supreme but not quite as sensitive as my midrange stuff.
The Vandal Smash is a very smooth rolling ball that has enough teeth to handle most fresh patterns, yet has a nicely rounded move down the lane reminiscent of the original Vandal. In terms of overall hook, it starts up a little sooner than my Melee Hook and Ridiculous Asym, but does not require as much oil up front oil as my Guru Supreme and Grudge.
The best word for me to use to describe the Vandal Smash is "safe". Its not the ball for hooking the whole lane or playing extreme angles, but its consistency keeps making it out of my bag for a high pocket % and a low risk 220 game. I have had success both staying straighter on fresh and chasing the pattern left. The Smash gives me an even reaction on Medium/Heavy oil and is a great option as the first ball out of your bag for league and most medium/longer conditions.

The original Vandal was is one of my favorite balls and I had very high expectations for the new Vandal Smash. This is a solid cover version of the original Vandal which I have been waiting to be released for quite some time.
Like the Vandal, the Vandal Smash has the same smooth asymmetrical roll but the solid cover allows the smash to roll a little sooner. I drilled my vandal smash with a 4" pin (above my middle finger) and the CG and MB straight down. My key intention was to use the design of the smooth arcing yet long weight block and the solid coverstock to create a heavier rolling asymmetrical that did not overpower the lane.
The Vandal Smash allows me to play nearly every part of the lane and feel confident that the ball is going to perform at it's highest level. The clean and predictable asymmetrical core wrapped with a solid cover creates a motion that every bowler dreams about. This ball has taken the spot of the original Vandal as my benchmark ball and is usually the first piece out of my bag. When a bowler asks me which ball they should purchase, this is often the ball I point them to and I have yet to see a bowler disappointed.

Likes: The DV8 Vandal Smash is very controllable through the front part of the lane and smooth and makes a strong move to the pocket off the friction. My layout 70x4x75 provides me the early roll I need in heavier conditions and the strong move to the pocket when I need to move left of center. This ball has amazing pin action and carry.
Dislikes: Can't use it all the time

Likes: I have purchased both the Vandal and Vandal Smash at the same time and wow they are a great 1-2 punch. The Smash is great for mid to heavy oil but more on the high mid and low heavy side. The Smash is so smooth and never stops turning like some of the more aggressive balls when it hits a little dry spot. this allows me to throw it all night.

COMMENTS
The DV8 Vandal Smash is one of the best ball motions i have seen in the DV8 line. The Vandal Smash rolls just like the original Vandal, but has quicker midlane read and about 3-4 more boards backend motion. Drilled this one. To blend the midlane read and make a smoother angular motion in the backend. This ball is another outstanding benchmark ball every bowler needs in their bag.
