Hello,
I recently got back into bowling and I decided to try out 2 handed and I'm liking it a lot. At the moment I am using a Brunswick Slingshot but I am looking for something more aggressive on a typical house shot.
My ball speed is about 15.5-16.5 MPH and I get high revs.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i bowl 2 handed as well and over the year ive been bowling 2 handed, ive learned it isnt about the ball brand. Its about the layout on the ball.

I know the layout makes a huge difference, would you have any suggestions towards a coverstock/finish that works best for 2 handed in your experience?

I'm a 2 hander throwing dv8 mostly, a neon misfit pearl has become my favorite ball for house shots recently. Everything else I throw on my medium oil house shot over reacts or I have to keep moving in every few frames

Keep in mind...layouts are only effective if the ball slows down correctly,otherwise irrelevant

Diva or Marauder Mutiny

I was dead set on getting the Marauder Mutiny, but I spoke with a Pro Shop employee and he was telling me to go with something with a Matte finish and to avoid high polish so I started looking elsewhere.
Would you say he's correct about this or doesn't really know what he's talking about?

Surface can always be changed later, but chances are he knows what will work best in the house, just make sure you explain to him your style and how you like to play the lanes ie track area, get deep and swing it, or keep it a little straighter

My bro is a 2 hander and I will agree that it is not the brand so much as it is the layouts. However, DV8 offers a number of symmetric balls with predictable enough shapes for a high rev, high track player to be successful.
Like most 2 handers track very high due to such a strong wrist position, so he worries about tracking over the fingers/thumb hole with pin downs and pins too far from the axis.
His go to balls are currently a blue Karma and Versa, but has had success with the Reckless, Too Reckless and Diva as they provide him the most forgiveness and smooth angles on the lane. All 5 balls I listed are symmetric and the only ball that is not a solid is the Reckless which is fairly early for a pearl. He bowls primarily on house conditions, and likes 4-5" pins with a drilling angle of about 45 degrees matte finishes to light polish.

My son is becoming a league very high average guy two handed.
Revs from 475 to 575 are the norm and speed at the reader in front of the pins from 18 to 20, all depending on what he is trying to do.
In general he uses lower end equipment and lets it dull up.
His two balls he is using are an old Hot Rod Super Sport Pearl (diff only .36)pin down and at about 4 1/2 that is dulled up from use and a Virtual Gravity pin next and about 4 1/4. The shot is fairly wet and a classic top hat.
His speed and ability to get pretty behind it allow him to use these stronger setups no problem, also moderate to a good amount of loft later in a set are also used.
Softer speed two handers may have to drill weaker.

Just an update, I ended up going with the Marauder Mutiny.. Definitely feels like the right choice. It didn't over hook once, and left some room for error even if I missed my mark by 3-4 boards. Ended up with a 213-146-207 when I usually only average about a 145.
