What to do with a cracked Nightmare
« on: April 28, 2013, 11:46:51 AM »
Had my Nightmare crack on me a few nights ago.  I was going to throw it away but decided to see if I could get the core out in one piece.  Looks like I won that battle.  lol

Depending on why it cracked, you might've been able to get it replaced.

DV8 has a 2 year warranty on them against defects..........................................

Sweet core.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

I had already gotten a replacement through the bowling center.  It had a couple good chunks taken out of it during a 9pin and they were originally going to try and plug the damaged spots.  Well my proshop guy drilled out the damaged spots that night and had them ready to pour the next day.  He came in the next morning to a huge crack in the coverstock between the two damage areas.  So I got a new nightmare.  8-)

It sucks that your ball cracked but at least you get free replacement and a skull core for keeps! I was always curious if the core was Really a skull... Not many would crack one to find out lol

Does the core have a skull on both sides?  Looks like two different cores in the pictures.  One has a clean face with a chunk out of the chin, the other has black scuffs on the face and no chunk out of the chin.
