Could the DV8 Line Be Any Better?
« on: January 27, 2013, 09:02:08 AM »
With the pearl Misfit coming out, what else would anyone like to see in the DV8 line?  Im not sure right now, that the line could be any better.  I really think from the Misfit Pearl all the way to the Brutal, this lineup of balls couldnt be much better.  Whats everyone think?  Is there anything missing that you'd like to see?

I am really impressed with the way the Misfit Pearl looks going down the lane.  I was really surprised actually.  Especially with the black switch grip, the ball is very easy to read going down the lane.  I honestly cant ever see this ball leaving my bag.

The Misfit Pearl in a different color. (Hopefully like the previous Misfits)

Would look cool in a solid Kentucky blue lol.....

Jokes aside, I wonder what a pearly black and a matte black (though still a full pearl) swirl would look like...brunsnick is that a possible pour (for any ball)?

Anyone have this ball that could compare it to a MoJave?  I believe that is a PK17 cover and big asym core.

Is that anything like Dodger Blue?

I suspect ... a HUGE difference.
Mojave requires much more dry and is nowhere near as snappy as  the Misfit which only requires medium-light oil to make a "Left turn now, Clyde!"

+1 to the Hellraiser core with a weaker cover. LOVE the hellraiser line, have them all!

Very much like Dodger blue.

I will admit, I didn't quite do my homework on the Misfit Pearl but everything seems to be talking about how well it works on the dry I wasn't sure the look it gave on toast"ier" conditions where the front is really going away.

From my experience... any misfit will hook more than you will expect it too.

I say that after buying one to have a step down off the original Hell Raiser, only to have more back end from the Misfit! More skid, more flip, not as rolly as the HR.

DV8... tonight we bowl.

I think its only a matter of time before people see the amazing value and reactions in the misfit line.  These are not just "House Shot" balls.  I love mine on Sport patterns and anything where I need to control the lane.  Bowling on international patterns and generally patterns where the volume is lower,  these balls are the first ones outta my bag.  Definitely thinking of drilling another Misfit with a smoother layout, putting the pin closer to my axis.  Possibly the 2 inch range..  Anyone try this?   I'd also love to see and black and gold misfit.  Could be Gold solid with pearl black... mmmm Hybird Misfit.... yes Please...
