What's on tap for DV8?

So Brunswick and Radical have displayed what they're coming out with this summer, anybody out there including staffers have the inside scoop of what DV8 is coming out with? Better yet what would people like to see from DV8 this summer?

I can say the ruckus schizo is an answer to a wet dream. Ruckus feud thats pearl? Sign me up! I cant wait to see the UPS man this week! And the dude is my favorite ball it so good on so much different stuff the rude dude should be a great step over the original dude. Will make up that gap btw the Feud and the original dude

I will pass on both. Colors are too bright for my liking on the lane. Was hoping to see something different.

Really we are making decisions on balls over color? I make fun of people for that and buying or not buying storm equipment based on smells.

both balls look like misfits...the rude dude looks almost like 2 other balls actually...and the new ruckus looks like the misfit pearl...actually try to mix up colors is my point

In fairness, we buy clothes, shoes, towels, bags, cars, furniture, and hundreds of other decisions based upon color because we have choices. With so many companies producing similar balls these days, yes, color does matter. These 2 balls do look like Misfits, but DV8 wants bright looks. And there are really only so many colors they can go with when reaction based on color is involved. Being a Storm/Roto staffer, they could produce a turd brown ball smelling like oatmeal, and I'd throw it. But I am sure the mass wouldn't though. Even if it were the Virtual Gravity Version 2.

I am not impressed by what you or others make fun of when it comes to others buying bowling balls. Yes color matters, patterns matter, being able to see what the ball is doing when going down the lane really matters. If it looks off to me when bowling it makes it very difficult to tell what the ball is doing and if the shot is good or bad.

Kid I get the wanting to be able tell what the ball is doing I don't believe that would be an issue for either of these I have never liked pure black balls for that reason but I don't think I'm ready to write any ball off before I've even seen it roll. My point was I would never buy a ball based on liking the color or not buy one due to not liking the color seems like a way to miss out on some equipment that could be beneficial.

Theres enough equipment available that I can pass on it based on color. If I spend the money and can't use it then it's money wasted.

Brunswick, Radical, and DV8 all just released a high performance ball. All with different cores, covers, and colors. All three are made for the same intended purpose/style/condition. So I can be picky if the color looks too bright and blended for me to use effectively.

It can happen with light or dark colors. Light ones like lime, orange, and yellow can be the worst. Orange and red or other mixes of light and dark are more user friendly for me. From off the lanes it's not an issue but im watching the ball from the foul line and it makes a big difference on what I can and cannot see.

I can get the color thing I seem to have that problem more with darker colored equipment but everybody is different. Definitely get your point with the variety of equipment. I'm not sure there has ever been as much good to great stuff on the market as there is right not.

Yes it varies for me. The really light colors tend to be an issue when mixed with lights. Solids not so much. It happens with any color sometimes when the pattern is just right when drilled and the ball goes down the lane it creates an illusion that makes it difficult to over look.

Examples, Hammer Grind, Morich Awesome Revs, and Brunswick Ultimax. Ive had several ultimax, but on one the silver was just right to be wrong.

I am excited for the Schizo and Rude Dude. I believe they'll greatly expand the line. Also, if the Schizo is using any of the formulations and additives that the Exile or Gusto uses . . . This ball is going to be very responsive at the break point and a big seller.
