I have thrown a few of the DV8 releases and am looking at more and in a conversation last night with a friend and was wondering what everyones over all favorite bowling ball from dv8?

I'm surprised everyone here like a their terror. I've heard a lot of bad things from that particular hellraiser.

Brutal nightmare is by far my favorite, but with the way conditions have been in my houses haven't been able to use it much with my rev rate/speed.

Hellraiser the power and continuation is friggin' amazing. I can play the same shot all night long because no one else is even in my zone. I have been able to with change in hand position and speed control to play any shot and never have to go into my bag for any other ball. It has improved my game, average and my overall outlook on bowling.

I have had a couple of them. And haven't found one I didn't like. I am throwing the Brutal Nightmare right now. Holy heck the ball hits like a truck. Got it drill pin under rung to give me more distance. I throw 16.5 to 17 Medium revs. On 38 ft house pattern. Shot my first sanction 837 with it. And almost shot another 300 since then.

My favorite is the Diva. I bought it because of the colors, watching Shannon throw it, and because in the video there is a 12 year old girl that says, "finally a ball for girls." lol.
I get a lot of comments on it because of the colors and the heart but this ball is exactly what I needed for our league shot that's been ridiculous all year.
The ball rolls strong, but smooth and allows me to play closer to the gutter without over hooking.
I shot the first 300 of the year in our league and only the 4th one of the year in the entire house on Thursday.
Nothing like putting up scores with a pink ball with a heart on it!

Nightmare #1 & Diva#1A . drilled the Brutal, but have not rolled it enough times yet.

So far I have drilled the Brutal , Diva and Misfit Pearl and just ordered a Marauder Madness . From the 3 I have so far I cannot really choose 1 favorite as I reallyyyyyy like them all and can score well with all 3 . But with everything I have heard about the madness I'm really looking forward to punching that one up this week !

currentlyi only own the diva, and absolutely love it. a teammate has a madness and i like the lines it allows him to play. If i was to get another one, i am thinking of the madnedd or brutal nightmare.
really like the green misfit to replace teal rhino i throw when the lanes r dry

I too must say the Diva. I had previously stated the Terror, but this Diva has been a money maker for me. I find myself wanting to throw other balls but the Diva always comes into play. I've never owned a ball that I can use in long blocks from start to finish. On more than one occasion I've done that with Diva.

Jason, do you use the same ball you did the review with?
I drilled mine up aggressive, the pin is below my fingers. i am having issues with it early in the night, but at the start of the 2nd game when lanes are transitioning, i find a line and it sticks to it all night.
Would you recommend a surface adjustment, or just keep grinding it.

Just got a Marauder Madness and boy is thing stronger than I expected. This is my first DV8 ball still trying to learn the ball. Does anyone have any suggestions for surface changes.

The Marauder Madness is very versatile with surface changes. If you need more lower the surface. I kept mine OOB surface and shot 826 with it the first night .

@lefty2511. Yes the Diva Ive had the most success with is the one I shot the video with. Pin under middle finger. 60x5x70. I did hit the ball with a 4000 pad even before I drilled it, as I usually do with all the highly polished balls. I just drill another one 70x5 1/2x60. Ill let you know how she works after this weekend. I left it at box finish hoping to use it a little later in the block if the lanes burn up real bad.

yeah i would appreciate that. I am looking to get another ball to compliment it. something more down and in. possible green misfit.
