i love my hrr just shot 733 with it today. But i am gonna start bowling at a diff house and need a ball to start up sooner. The one i have now is drilled pin up mb a few inches from my tumb. Would it be dumb to drill one up with the pin under strong drill so it will start up sooner and hook more or should i get a diff ball alltogether

You need a ball that starts up sooner than the Hell Raiser Revenge ? You realize that this is the biggest hooking ball  in the DV8 lineup ?  Hit your Hell Raiser Revenge with a 500 Siaair pad and watch it "hook up" sooner.......

Agreed, unless you pick up a NeXXus, Brunswick doesn't make anything noticeably stronger than the Revenge (original Nexus was almost identical to the HRR but a hair stronger for me).

Go ahead and drill your next one stronger, and don't be afraid to add surface if you want more hook.  My HRR's look better with more surface
