Well, to some it is everyday business, but to me an achievement I have long been waiting for: a new personal 3-series record with a 739 (265-231-243), done with my new Hell Raiser.
Lanes were not demanding, ball came back literally from anywhere - modified THS (w/o dry boards outside, just buffed area) with good head oil, excellent turf for the Hell Raiser. At least 50% of the score has to be attributed to the ball, I sem to match up well with it!
Anyway, the ball gave very good feedback concerning release adjustments, so that I could keep scoring. I could keep my feet at the same board and visual target all the time, I just had to gradually take out hand and delay the breakpoint.
Bowling can be so easy... :D

Congratulations, Thomas.
Great bowling.
The ball allowed some forgiveness, but YOU did the BOWLING!!

Many thanks, guys! I am really proud, even though the session was unreal. Besides the high numbers I am impressed by the Hell Raiser, due to its carry and recovery potential. I have been very suspicious about high end balls for some time, but this a truly positive surprise to me :)
Yeeeeeha!

Thats some good bowling. DV8 definitely gives Brunswick a great new product line that they had been missing for a long time.

Whenever you shoot 700 it's great.
I like the DV8 Misfit. First game I threw with it, was 256.
I'm looking at buying the Hellraiser.

Congratulations, Thomas. Keep up the great scores and don't short-change the bowler behind that ball.

Many thanks, guys - and I actually need some positive experience, since the running league is not going on smoothly... so it's nice to see that there IS some potential. I just have to tap it... Your feedback is highly appreciated! :)

As an addendum: used the Hell Raiser first time in league, and while it was only usable on fresh lanes, I cracked another personal record: official personal high game with 276, and (while using a Blackout and black Pure Hammer) a 710 3-series in that course.
The ball is a weapon on frash lanes, I had room galore. But you have to stay alert, because once things dry up, you get into easy trouble. Thankfully I was able to make the right adjustments, immediately switching balls when I felt that the good carry went away.
And: the Hell Raiser attracts dirt like nothing else I have ever had in my hands! The cover must be tremendously porous, or the neon colour additives (which are supposed to act like tiny spikes?) have some stickiness to them which is something between amazing and shocking. Anyway, the ball still keeps up its good OOB performance, but definitively needs thorough cleaning after each use.

Congrats and great bowling with an amazing ball!!! Keep up the good work and keep us posted on your score with your new DV8!!!
Train a child up in the way they should go and when they are old they will do some "Damn Good Bowling", be a "DV8" and not turn from it, besides bowling starts with a Big B!

Thanks, guys. I had arather surreal league day, and the Hell Raiser and its good performance in my hands was just a part of it. I had a very good read from the lanes, but then add a "flow experience" and things turn into something to remember.

Thank you! Next weekend will be next league outing - I hope for the best, but that last "record breaking" event puts the stakes pretty high. I just hope I can keep relaxed...
