Title: Marauder Madness , Hellraiser Terror ?
Post by: MidwestMissile on March 17, 2013, 03:31:06 PM

Recently I drilled a Brutal Nightmare , Diva and a Misfit Pearl . I guess the question I have is what do you guys suggest would be a good fit between the Brutal and the Diva ? I'm thinking a Marauder Madness or a Hellraiser Terror but I'm not entirely sure which would be more beneficial overall .  :o

So far you have three balls that are clean through the heads, and later move, so out of the two you mentioned the Madness will give you more contrast.  It will be earlier and more smooth than your previous purchases.

Every thing Ive seen says Diva is more than the Madness, is changing the surface of the Diva an option? Move left?

Agree with notclay. Madness would be a complete contrast. The solid cover on Madness will be a welcome change with an earlier and smoother reaction than the Diva.

I agree with the Marauder Madness being a gap filler with your arsenal. The solid cover will allow you to change it to match up better on many different conditions. Plus, it takes well to rough buff or polish.

What about aristocracy'so idea of dulling the diva? Nobody has responded to this idea yet.

The Diva is moreso designed to give you flip. More surface would smooth the reaction, giving you a Madness look anyways. The better option, IMO, is to get a Madness and then if its not enough, you can add surface with a solid cover more capable of handling oil. No use paying for a ball that flips (and I'm not saying its a flip monster) and adding surface to smooth the reaction, when you can pay the same price and get the reaction you are looking for.

I agree with the others.  The Madness is earlier in the mid lane and is real smooth on the back.  I was looking for something that is smoother and not a flip and the Madness fit for what I was looking for.  It takes surface changes really well also.
