Title: New to DV8 Staff
Post by: tommymo on May 20, 2014, 08:53:09 PM
I was lucky enough to have just signed a Regional Staff contract with DV8. I'm really excited about this chance. I will frequent this forum and try to help to the best of my abilities. I know there are some amazing staffers that already post on this board. I can't wait to work with all of you. Brunswick/DV8/Radical has the best family in bowling, hands down!

A little about myself:
I am a 31yrs old father of 4 from in MA. I am a certified Pro Shop technician and run a shop  in our local center. I am very involved in our local bowling scene. I am President of the Association, President of 2 Leagues, Co-Director of our USBC Youth program and also Coach Bowling and other youth sports.

Thank you!

Welcome!

My advice is do not be afraid to experiment and tweak covers.  We all bowl on such widely varying conditions that your advice regarding surface changes can be the difference between the customer loving his new piece or hating it when it doesn't match up well.

Thank you everyone! Also, Thank you for the advice. As a lot of my customers know, I am a huge surface guy. Some times we just don't match up . . . But most of the time we're using the wrong surface on the ball. As Mo Pinel has drilled into my head . . . "There's no such thing as a bad ball . . . Just bad ball reaction."

Welcome to the team and to ball reviews. Like Jason said, don't hesitate to ask about the equipment layouts or surface changes.

Congrats on the success.  You are living the dream.  Can't wait to hear your views on this awesome equipment.
As I dreamed of working for brunswick since my college days, now I just want to help promote the brand as an outsider.

Congrats. I'm a new staffer that signed this season as well. Can't wait to get some feedback from you and what DV8 has coming down the pike. So far they're off to a great start with the 1st two that dropped this season.

Thank you everyone! The equipment is amazing!! I am having the time of my life right now. Plus, we're really selling a ton of Brunswick Family balls. The pro shop and leagues use to be dominated by Storm and RG. Now DV8, Brunswick and Radical are really taking over.
