Title: Nightmare or Endless nightmare?
Post by: hitmanct13 on April 11, 2014, 05:23:35 AM
I was thinking about getting a new ball for oil either the nightmare or endless nightmare.  The ball I use for oil now is a Lane Master Absolute Power 2 and it works good, just not enough bite that i want.  I just dont really no specs all that well and the coverstock being Super Carbon doesnt help. My question is, if i go with a regular nightmare will it hook more than the AP2 or should I just go for the Endless?

Ive thrown both Nightmares and was very disappointed in the original. The Endless was a favorite. I'd actually buy another Endless no questions about it.

I would go with the Endless because the hybrid coverstock is more versatile in surface changes.

I shot a video comparing the Nightmare and Endless.
The Endless is much stronger, but the Nightmare is great if you want to play more direct angles.
My question is what do you mean by "bite"?  Does that refer to the ball's ability to grip in oil or its response to friction in the back end?

thanks for all the help.  By bite I mean I've been having to move way right and for a ball that is supposed to be my "strongest" it doesn't hook as much as I want it too.  After all the info you guys gave me, I think I'm going go with the Endless.

I have the Nightmare and its the strongest ball I have in my bag @ the moment...  I was forced to sand the ball to 1000 and put weight hole in the to receive the reaction I was looking for...  Also remember - Ball check up when they hit friction and not oil...

Strongest reaction on Friction from what I have thrown is Yellow Misfit - When it hits friction its gone....
