Title: Pitbull Review
Post by: chrisleftwich on January 30, 2017, 07:39:18 AM
Pitbull:

I drilled mine pin above ring finger with cg and mb stacked straight down.  What I was hoping for with this layout is something that will retain a little more energy for the backend on heavier oil.
I  have been able to use this ball on a wide range of medium to heavy sport conditions with the reaction I was looking for.  The Pitbull goes about 3 feet longer for me than the Grudge with the same layout and about 3 boards more total hook.  It also hook about 3-4 more boards than my Absolute Nirvana, with more length also.
The Pitbull will be great for anything medium heavy to heavy, but I was not able to use it on any of the house shots in the area.  I will try to put some polish on top of the OOB cover to see if I am able to use it at league.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Mine is drilled similar to your description. I threw it in practice for the first time on a fresh THS today. If I didn't stay deep in the oil (between 4th and 5th arrows), I couldn't hold the pocket. There are few balls that I've ever thrown on a THS I can say this about. I was playing much deeper than I prefer, so I won't be using it in any of my house shot leagues.

I can't wait to try it out on a heavier/longer sport shot. I only threw the Pitbull one game, but my first impression is that it's the real deal.

This ball was made to hook and it will hook on heavy oil patterns coming back from any angle with a continuous motion through the pins. The Pitbull hooks more than the Absolute Nirvana with more length. if you are looking for a ball that hooks thisd is your ball.
