Not even close. 10 years apart in technology and power. Misfit pearl handles today's medium-light oil; PG handled medium-light oil 10 years ago. The MP is just a stronger ball in every aspect.

I disagree. The PG is a high rg, high diff, asymmetric core ball that has a weaker cover but still rolls very well on todays conditions. I cant stay away from the PG for that reason. The original Misfit is a much stronger ball no doubt but the pearl would be a much smaller gap.

Depending on the layout the PG can handle THS shots easily. I still have one drilled and one NIB for that simple reason.
