I found a good deal on a NIB Reckless for $59.95 but its a factory second.. It says that there's some pitting on the cover but they are very tiny.. Is this a good deal?

Yep. I got one and the ball is awesome. Defects weren't noticeable. Back to back 770s out of the box with a 290. Buy two.
"1 of 1."

I just picked up a used one on Ebay. It was listed as a misfit. I emailed them and told me it was really a reckless but they were not going to change the ad. I got it for 38 bucks already plugged shipping included. I am hoping it hooks like they claim it will.

The Reckless is far from a hook beast. It is more a smooth arcing type ball. If you want a ball from DV8 that hooks even on heavy oil, get a Hellraiser Revenge.
My Misfit actually out hooked my same drilled Reckless by a couple of boards. The Misfit is a great ball.

So I had the reckless drilled today. I dont know shit from shinola when it comes to cg or rg or any of that stuff. I am lucky to have a good proshop guy at Bowlers Junction in Redlands Ca. I just told him that I wanted a super aggressive dril on the bal. He knows my bowling style and drilled it with the pin over the ring finger. I didnt practive with it and threw it tonight in league. My average is low 200 I shot 641. For the first time using the ball I felt okay. The way it is drilled allows me to just swing. No need to watch my speed. I am an up and in guy I was throwing the ball around the 7 board at about 17 mph. I put alot of hand into the ball and it took every bit of it. I only had problems when I throw the ball a little wide. Can't wait til Wednesday to throw it again. Will definitely be looking into the brand for balls in the future.

Throw some practice games with the Reckless today. I shot 300 287 268. Love this ball.
