Title: Similar Bowling Ball to DV8 Ruckus

Hi All,

I just started getting into bowling a few months ago and have been using a friend's DV8 Ruckus (actually just bowled my first 600 + series with it Tuesday night). Naturally, having found a good feeling with this ball, I've been searching to purchase one online with no avail. I've been trying to find similar balls to the Ruckus, but am somewhat overwhelmed by what all the numbers / specs mean.

This said, is there a ball similar to the Ruckus that could be recommended?

Nothing in the current product line is obviously going to be the exact same as the Ruckus.  The Thug Life is probably the closest in my opinion

I would consider a grudge or thug corrupt. Either would be a pretty perfect replacement. Ive had all of these so I have a pretty good feel for them.

I hope your talking about a grudge with some polish on it and not at box finish. Can't see those 2 balls be very similar. :o

The Vandal would be a good choice A little stronger off the spot IMO, But it is a fantastic ball. The new Composite cover is great. The Grudge would be significantly stronger and earlier. Not a replacement for the Ruckus. The Original Thug would be close too. You can get them on sale right now.

I have a 14lb Ruckus, low games but plugged and redrilled. Moved pin from under finger to the top. Not asking much if u are interested
