Solid cover with a bulb light core. It should roll great. It will be a good compliment to the Vandal.

Got to drill this ball and throw a few games with it Friday. I am pretty impressed on the matchup of core and cover. The Deviant is a great benchmark look. A little smoother than my Vandal and a great all purpose ball. I can't wait to get a few more games on it and compare it to the other balls in the line.

How can you beat it.  It's round, pretty color, goes long and hits like a truck.   It's a house bowlers wet dream.     Hype, hype, hype.  Buy it quick, they are only going to make a few thousand.   Old PT would have loved bowlers

I have it 3 stronger than the Rude Dude at OOB finish. Both sanded to 2000, the Deviant is 5-7 boards stronger and keeps its motion on the backend better. This is just what I've seen so far.

I went to the product launch seminar yesterday. The Deviant looked and rolled amazing for every style. It is a very versatile piece and I feel it's the best symmetrical DV8 has produced. That's big for me, seeing as I love the Diva line!

This is a lot more ball than the average mid price. The average down and in bowler can move left and open up the lane.Miss right and it will not pick up early and if you miss left it will hold and not leave a flat ten. This ball will not read the lanes early and has a wicked back end bite. All serious bowlers should have this ball in their bag.

Very similar move off the back to the Melee Jab but a step earlier.  Not my first choice for playing down/in, but a great choice to open up the angles during transition
