Vandal is filthy!
« on: September 06, 2015, 05:04:03 PM »
I don't know why this ball isn't blowing up the news feeds or the standard equipment discussions. This ball is just amazing. It is one of those 80% balls that every bowler is looking for. It gives you so many options and is such a beast. The new Composite Pearl cover and new low RG asymmetric core just read the lane so well. I have been able to use this ball in our summer sport league as well as on some challenge and house shots. There's not much this ball can't or won't do.

Is anyone else seeing the same thing as me?

What type drilling are you using, and how angular is the Vandal?  Does it lean more towards naturally being a skid flip reaction or an arc?

I say the same about the Brute Strength. If it isn't the next big hook monster most arent interested.

For most it isnt about what you will score best with, but what looks best hooking the most.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

And those bowlers are precisely who I wanna bowl in brackets.   ;D  :)

To the OP, I haven't seen a Vandal in action but I have heard many good things about the cover.

I have mine drilled 35x5x35 no balance hole. The ball seems to "stick" to the lane and read it from foul line to pin deck. I am seeing a nice length and strong arc on our ths. The continuation is amazing. I drilled one for a high rotation, low tilt bowler with descent speed and rpm. We went 55x4x40 and he was amazed. His immediate reaction was "Wow". Then after moving all over the lane on 6 different shots. He came back and said to a friend "This is A LOT of ball!"

This is a quick peak of a shot I took on a 39challenge pattern

I drilled one for my son last week and it does impress!  We went pin down about 4.5" from PAP and put a P-4 hole.  Seems like it read the lane exactly as we expected.  Great hit at the pin deck.
