Can anybody tell me why this ball is not as popular as it should?
This baby is all you can get for light to medium oil conditions, I hope the new company has a more active approach to marketing their products, because many bowlers missed the quality balls made by Dynothane, just because they
did not know them.

what new company...i heard that dt just sold out....i was pissed when i heard that, so i changed to Roto-grip, and although i think DT is alot better, Roto aint to bad, i like how their stuff rolls....
but i would switch back in a minute if DT made a come back

Wow, have you been out of touch! DT did not "sell out". It was anounced sometime last February or March that Ebonite was buying Columbia300 and all its "everything". (See old posts here on ballreviews in the March time frame and check marketing news on the Ebonite website.) That "everything" included Track, and Dyno-Thane brand names. Dyno-Thane balls will no longer be produced in the US, but will be an overseas brand name only.

Ebonite is now making Ebonite, Hammer, Columbia and Track balls.

Phil Cardinale along with another Columbia ex-vice-president formed a company called 900Global and will be making their balls and AMF300 balls in the old Columbia manufacturing plant in Texas. 900Global (the Break and the Creature) and AMF300's first balls (the Heist)  are being sold right now.
