Title: A bowling ball actually goes down the lane backwords....

Can some one expline how the ball goes down thumb first  or backwords if u will some one told me about it a very relibale source i dont get how it does tho... thx dynothane

backwards* is how you spell it. The only way a ball could do this is if your release was horrific and there was enough oil out there for it to spin backwards for 40 or so feet.

in thinking of it I guess its kinda true, when the ball comes off your hand, on a good release, the thumb orientation has to lead the ball path. So if your thumb is following the rotational angle, then could it not be seen as leading the way down the lane? This would be my explaination of the concept.
