Any New Balls on the Horizon?
« on: May 24, 2006, 06:41:53 AM »
Other manufacturers have had some information leaking out for their new line-ups.  Anyone have any Dynothane news? A new CM? 44? anything?

unless things have changed the next release is scheduled in July, it's going to be a gem......from what I hear.

The 44 Magnum came out about two months ago, if that.  The ZR40 was early '06.  I'd like to see another ball with the CM core, but I'm not sure where to put it in the lineup.  There aren't any high-end solid reactives except the TL which is quite old (I love mine), but with the solid/pearl mixes they've got, there doesn't seem to be much missing, reaction-wise.

CM/solid Soaker ATC.  Green and orange, like the original Element only blotchier (uhh...).

If it's a "jem" it's probably another Element.  Probably a solid since they are missing that.  I would like to have a less aggressive CM.  My CM is amazing in the first game or so, but I have to put it away once the oil goes because it is just too much ball.

Hey Hulkzone

Flood: Pure Energy
Heavy-Medium: CM
Medium/Benchmark: Vendetta Black
Dry-Medium: Zr40 or Vendetta Pearl

Go find a Vendetta Black.  Best Benchmark Ball Dyno ever made.  They still have some at www.ballcellar.com.  Pure Energy is a great flood ball.  Supposedly the Vendetta Black is not discontinued, but it is hard to find.  I'm starting to stockpile some for myself.

Question for you DT guys.  Why is the TL such an expensive ball?  I've seen on a few sites with discontinued or older stuff (the DT site still lists the TL as a current ball, though) having the high-end stuff (even Energies and later) for $15-20 cheaper than the TL.

Any particular reason for that?  I got a good deal on mine, and I'm very happy with it, but I was curious.

Bowl Expo's in Vegas this year.

BLack Vendetta is a great ball and the 44 Mag is just as good.  I have both and it is a toss up for my benchmark.  Been using the Mag more because I like lower RG equipment.  I laid them out differently, if the Mag is a touch too strong I just grab the Black and go to town.  IMHO both are equally good benchmark material.

discount market is sometimes controlled by availability, the Thing lives is such a good ball not many people want to close it out.

So we still have no leaks for upcoming balls beside the next one being a Jem?
What would like to see next?
