Title: Barrage Question
Post by: olddirtyhank on December 18, 2005, 09:32:10 AM
I love this ball for starters. But I have never left it in my car or a place below 55 degrees and it is developing white track rings and oil spots all over it. I havent been able to clean them off and was wondering if this has happened to anyone else or have any ideas on how to clean it? Its in the same bag as my Element and nothing has happened to it.

thanks

What have you tried to clean them with?
Sometimes cold does that to a ball. I doubt if those are oil rings, unless you left it in extreme heat AND have been using it on alot of oil (which isn't likely).
I've always been able to clean the rings off with a good ball cleaner.

I also have a barrage and i live in MI where its like 20 degrees out. I take my stuff in after i bowl but even the drive from my house to the bowling alley( which is like 10 mins away) makes the white marks on mine too. I think it has to do with the older coverstock and yes you can clean that off. Any good coverstock cleaner should work.. at least it worked for me. hope that helps

HInt. This used to happen with the coverstock on the Too Hot and the Ultra Hot and made no difference in performance...
