New Ball
« on: May 06, 2004, 06:23:45 AM »
Ok guys I'm going to give Dynothane a shot. I've never used it before. I was thinking of the Element or Anomoly but now I'm looking at the Thing Returns. I throw with alot of speed and fairly straight. Since I throw the Ball hard I need something that's going to grab the lane and move for me. I beleive these 3 balls have similar coverstocks on them. Any Suggestions??

I gotta go along with the Vendetta Particle given your description of your style.  Drill it around 4x4.

Vendetta particle Pearl would be a nice choice given your description..

I really don't like pearls or particle coverstocks. I think I would be better suited with a reacive resin coverstock. I bowled with particle and pearls and didn't have much success.

If you throw the ball hard and straight, you'll want a ball with surface.  The Anomaly and Element are both excellent choices.  You can certainly add a dab of polish to these coverstocks to get a little more length and snap out of them.

The new Element Au79 might be a good option as well.  Either way, I'd drill the balls for maximum reaction like a 4x4 layout.

Best of luck!

Well, if you don't like pearls, WHY DID YOU PUT THE THING RETURNS?!?  That doesn't make sense...

Thanks Tony I will probably go with one of your suggestions. I probably should not have included the Thing Returns in my original posting. Thanks to everyone who responded.
