Dyno-thane WOW!!
« on: December 20, 2005, 07:37:25 AM »
I been throwing different ball companys and doing ok avg about 215 but, really wanted a skid snap ball after looking around I picked up the Thing Returns. WOW is all I can say !! AllAirForceOnce is correct when he said they put an addictive chemical in them!!! Once I stuck my fingers in it I can't put it down! Ball is amazing! Being new to DT,is the soaker cover durable? I clean the ball after every set so I hope it lasts. Can the CM be polished and drilled to be skid, flippy? If not can someone tell me what ball will be skid, flippy that can handle carry down better then my TR? Thanks everyone.                                                                                                                                                         IF YOU ARE NOT HAVING FUN THEN QUIT!!

Soap and water is very effective to clean Soaker covers with... I use Track's Clean n Dull because it is quicker and doesn't change the surface of the ball... Just be sure to have a clean dry towl handy to buff after you use any ball cleaning product that drawas oil out...

No joke, durability is what keeps me using D/T long after my "freebies" stopped coming...

I am not done testing my CM out, my gut says if I had a pin up over my ring finger/Power CAP and a 2000 or 4000 abralon finish I would see considerable length and flip... Mine is pin under ring finger/Power CAP in box finish... Going to work on PBA/Sport shots tomorrow afternoon, then maybe I can post a good review... My CM drill was WAY TOO STRONG on my scratch league's THS to throw last night.

I think you could make a good 1-2 punch with a CM and a TR...

Soaker's are awesome...very durable coverstock so far for me.

I have a Element Au79, and it's a real good skid/flip ball with no problems handling carrydown.  Once it takes off it goes whether there is oil in the heads or not.  Can't say about the Energy's for sure since I haven't thrown them, but both the Pure and the High energy's seem to be good balls for skid/flip at differing oil levels.
