Mike,
Remember somefactors involved here -
1. A full roller's ball will hook earlier than a 3/4 roller/tracker.
2. The Crisis solid is a solid; they always hook earlier than pearls.
FYI I am surprised DT went with a solid and more surprised that most BTM and BJI tetsing revealed that the ball was suitable for drier lanes. (I have found, for me,) Solid Super-Flex is a strong hooking ball, no matter how much you polish it and no matter what core you put it in.
I also believe that the 7:30 drill for full rollers is the equivalent of stacked leverage for 3/4 trackers, a very strong drill. So you may not only want to adjust the cover but also redrill it. (I'm not that familair with full roller drills, but I know there's a weaker drill.)
I'd be inclined to sand it even weaker than Steve suggested (1000 grit), maybe even 2000 grit, then add a strong dose of polish.
