Tis the season,....

Hopefully all you loyal/new Dynothane fans will wake up Christmas morning and find that new ball, or those new ABS shoes under their tree.  If so,..the holidays are a great time to get in some practice, try out the new stuff, and meet us all back here with some really good stories about how they all worked. I hope that all of you have a great Christmas, and a safe New Year. I'm not much on resolutions but I'm going to start spending more of my practice time shooting those pesky 10 tens,..I say that every year, this year I mean it. Remember that if it doesn't shake, weights about 15-16 lbs, and is in a square box..,it could be a new D/T.  jimensminger

A friendly challenge for your practice sessions: bowl a perfect 110 game - 10 pin on the first ball with a spare every frame.  I've tried, but never accomplished this.  Anyone else ever do this?

I like it.

How about - one game 10 pin and next game 7 pin. 110 is perfect score.

Just thought of an alternative, for spare shooting:
a perfect 20: first ball 7 or 10 pin; 2nd ball, the other corner pin.
nasty, nasty, nasty.

Many years ago as a kid growing up in St. Louis, we bowled action every weekend, one of the games we bowled was "lowball",...simple enough, lowest score wins....you had to throw 2 balls a frame and a perfect score for a frame would be 1,..taking off the 10 or the 7, then the second ball back in the same place,...balls that went in the gutter were scored 10....tuff game..I had some scores in the 30s,...but 50s was really good...jimensminger

Low ball the way we do it is as follows:
1st ball 10 pin
2nd ball 7 pin
record actual pin fall.
If it goes in the gutter on either shot it's automatically a strike.
20 is a perfect score.

Lowest I've ever gotten is in the 40s.
