I'm currently bowl with brunswick equipment, original inferno & absolute inferno. Currently looking for a performance ball for lighter patterns, need length & arc. Which ball(s) would fit in my arsenal? Suggestions? Tip? How do brunswick balls compare to dynothane balls?
thanks

I have thrown both Brunswick and Dyno-Thane as far as hitting the pocket I think any ball that is thrown correctly into the 1-3 pocket or 1-2 pocket will hit hard, but most of the Brunswick balls roll earlier than the Dyno-thane balls and for me personally left alot of ten pins. I have a tendency to come behind the head behind alot, but for some reason my Dyno-thane balls seems to carry the 10 pin alot better than Brunswick. If u are looking for length and arc on light oil I would suggest to try the Vendetta Pearl or the Crisis Pearl

well like you said, any ball thrown 'correctly' will carry. If you want a true light oil ball, the new power groove dry/r will be your ticket. The original power grooves, in my opinion, are WAY stronger then advertised, and NOT alight oil ball. Especially for you, considering your screen name. Now, as for dyno-thane, I dont know much about them. OH, and if you can get your hands on a Brunswick Monster Slay/R, that would be great also. Very controlled.

what the Lion said,...I was with B'wick before DynoThane,..B'wick balls seem more condition specific, and had to be changed quicker as the lanes change,..I can stay with a D/T longer as the lanes transition,...also the shells seem to keep their prepared surface longer on the D/Ts,...B'wick seemed to track up quicker...Both are great balls, and what works for some don't work for others,..

Dyno-Thane and Storm are none for being clean thru the heads, where as most of the brunswick balls starts rolling real early in the heads, not saying that is a bad thing, it just was not conducive to my style. What I really look in a ball is the overall performance, not just what the ball does on the backends, Dyno-Thane balls are great in the midlanes, making it easier for me to read the Break point. I am a Dyno-Thane man for life, so go out and get the Vendetta Pearl or the Crisis Pearl, I hope this helps.
