I was just on the DT website. They are now showing two new balls the Red Black Hero and the Pin Killer...and some Japanese verbage.

Ya don't remind me...the fact that Dyno is just an overseas label is just so depressing to me.  I really loved my Dyno stuff and still throw them.

I take it then, that these "DT" balls are not cleared by the USBC and cannot be used in USBC sanctioned event such as league play? I also take it that any one who prefers DT would not be able to purchase these balls..

Actually they are on the USBS Approved list so if you are lucky enough to get one in the US then you can utilize it!

Most international releases are USBC approved (and PBA registered if the rest of the brand is), the only thing is getting your hands on one.

Billy, if you're keen on DT then you should check out 900 Global and AMF.  The guys behind DT are there now, the new DT is unrelated to the DT of last year.  If you like Ebonite, try the new DT.  If you like the old DT, go with 900G/AMF.
