Title: EGT coverstock question...

I've got a Cure that I've just drilled up, and am very pleased with the performance of the EGT coverstock. Is this still in use by DynoThane, and if not, do they have other balls with a similar coverstock? I'd like to expand my arsenal at some point and I'd like to give this cover a second try.

The cover had a heavy paticle load. We do not use that heavy of a particle load any longer. The Sniper has the same particles as does the pure energy but the loads are not nearly as high.

Can you expand on the decision not to use heavy load particles anymore?

Probably because high-load particles burn up much more easily than more modest loads.  There aren't many high-load particle balls available now, and I'd guess that it's because they simply aren't needed to make enough friction on todays "heavy" conditions.  If you need a high-load particle ball, the Goliath is one of the only choices available now.
