Hi Steve:

Could you tell us a little about this new ball?  e.g. surface, condition, etc.

thanks!

Replaces the original solid Element, I think.  Dull-ish solid Soaker reactive, I think I heard.  Wonky colors, though.  Pink and blue?

Calf. surfer colors, royal blue and dull neon or salmon pink. Sounds gaudy, but it really isn't, more "prepy" than anything. 1000 grit sanded prior to polishing, soaker solid, lowered rg. Sorry guys I'm at the office, all the specs are at the shop, get them to ya this evening when I get there. Thinking I'll go online and purchase one of those silk Jimmy Buffet shirts to match my new Neon, I know this will bring back a few comments from JimE, probably take him back to yester year, when his beard and hair we not as snow capped as today. Just kiddin Jimbo.

Don't worry...I plan on it!  I actually just got some feeback from Billy the other day on a suggestion of the second Crisis.  The first one was a little stronger than I expected it to be.

likewise, good length more backend and sharper than I had expected, but a good surprise, mine is 3 5/8 x 4 small x-hole on mid past VAL. Very predictable motion, yet surprisingly stronger than antisipated.

The ball ignores at least 30 feet of lane effortlessly for me. It definitely revs more than my Crisis Pearl... then I saw the core in BTM today... that explains it.

The ball arcs more than Noah with this drill and I can play the dry outside on a THS no problem... Should be incredible on Short Sport Oil.

This release should satisfy those needing a drier condition ball no prob!

Dave with your game I would think so, great ball, tossed it this morning on  yesterdays leftovers from league and "Moonlight Madness". It still had a great reaction, smooth turn after about 40 feet no over under, carrydown did not effect it at all.

I don't think it looks anything like my TL.  The swirl is completely different.  C300's more recent high-end balls, as well as Track's, all have that "starburst" where one part of the ball is a solid color with the fingers coming off of it.

I was hoping my TL would look more like the pic on the website but the swirling is pretty uniform.

Well when I got to the shop tonight there was my ball...I have it laid out 5-3/4 at 50 degrees...still have to throw it to see where I want to put the weight hole, but I need to cast some thumb molds first so it will wait till saturday.

I will admit that the color combination is better than I thought it was going to look.  But you can also tell that Columbia poured the ball...the way the colors mixed remind me a whole lot of the Actions that we have drilled.

Drilled my 1.5 in pin out ball today. 3 3/8 pin-to-pap, pin below fingers, 60 degrees... wide shallow balance hole to take fingers to 1/4 oz and side to a 1/4 oz. Previously after drilling it was 0 oz fingers and 7/8 ozs side but wasn't very smooth in it's direction change which IMHO is an Element trademark...

Displayed quite a bit of recovery on the 40 ft Sport Shot after a little bit of grey scotchbrite pad by hand and w/o the balance hole... unfortunately it was over/under... until the majic balance hole! 7 bagger to finish w/224.

Off to the last pair (which happened to be the first pair oiled and is always drier because the word "prime" is not in the lane dude's vocab) where it gripped and ripped more than I liked. So I bagged it...

I will try other surfaces next week.

Well I finally got the throw this ball last night (way too busy on Saturday).  So I took this ball and my 44 to the lanes to compare against.  The Ne10 is deffinately stronger in the oil and makes a more pronounced move off of the dry.  I would guestimate the ball to be 3-4 boards stronger and a little bit earlier.  By the ball motion that I was getting I could tell that the ball was just a little too strong for the 2nd shift left overs I was trying to bowl on.  I could move in fairly deep and catch enough oil to make the ball really effective, but I had to keep a tight line.  Look forward to giving this ball a try on a fresh pattern on Thursday.

Threw pin down 3 3/8 x 4 NE10 on my THS on base... I was sore from a new workout i am trying, they had the door open so the humidity was up, the approaches got tacky and my wrist hurt from playing a new PC game into wee hours of the same morning... So I had 1 open a game and still shot 693... this ball is so good it's almost unfair.

Dave how'd you like that layout on the NE? I used the same on my CS, really like the reaction with it. Thinking about the same for the NE, then I could do a 4 x 4 pin even like with my Orig Element, just for a comparison..Mine came in today, I've had a stomach virus so I couldn't get to far from the throne to drill it up tonight, maybe tomorrow.

I really like it Steve... using a large shallow balance hole really helped out. I was surprised how strong it was for a ball with polish on it. Wow... My CS was drilled pin on VAL, mb in my thumb a la Tommy Jones... I wonder what this ball would have been like with that drill pattern...

ya got Ying's cell number? Been slow going the past few weeks Tony, auditors, year ending and so forth. Took 2 -1/2 weeks to get my replacement after the initial phone call. Might call Dale and ask him to see what's going on, I had to 3 days later mine showed up.

Dave drilled my Ne almost the same as my CS. 3-1/4" pin, 3-3/4 x 4 1/4, pin same height as fingers, x hole 6 1/2" on midline. 13/16" x 1 1/2" deep. left 5/8 oz side, 1/4 oz finger, 1/2 oz top. 214,222,238 in local tourney team event, got good read with a very strong break, but not uncontrollable, just sharp hook with excellent carry. Bowl dbls and single Sunday, probally won't get but 4 games and she'll go to the bag for the CS to take over. 2-3 boards stronger than the TL with same drilling.

Steve try this pattern out sometime and tell me what ya think... place thumb in MB, pin on VAL and at least 2-2.5 inches from PAP... I like it on the Crisis Solid.

easy length w/late max revs and recovery... Of course the CS doesn't have the tires to handle more oil... but I can see having strong reactive and a particle pearl for a trio of Killer Orbs!
