contact   jimensminger   he can help you out alot with drilling suggestions. I have a Thing with a long pin placement and he hooked me up. He knows his stuff.

As with all things, this is my opinion. And we all know, opinions are like butt-holes, we all have one.

1.  Medium THS w/ stripped backends.
2.  15lbs
3.  Label leverage
4.  Box Finish
5.  Synthetics
6.  Tweener
7.  No weight hole needed

Summary:  The ball has a strong midlane with a controllable backend.  Overall, it is a very controllable ball that hits very hard (carries well).  Hope this helps.

He's also very humble, a great bowler, and good looking.
The Original Thing is a great ball. I won 2 tournaments with one drilled with the pin up over the ring, with the cg about 2" right of the center of my grip on the center line, about a 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 for me. Then a balance hole 6" right of the grip center about 2" deep x 7/8"dia. This ball gives me a smooth long arcing reaction with dry to the right,..and will also let me move inside and play a dry track with some carry down. The surface is and has been box since birth,..great benchmark ball. I can use it on either wood or syn, and I use 15s,..
