bad night at black gulch
« on: November 08, 2006, 06:11:15 PM »
last night first ball in league throwing an atomic charge and the ball didnt
even wiggle when i threw the shot and i left a wash. the whole night was a
struggle. to make a long story short mentally i was sloppy. i fluffed a 4 pin
and just let my struggle lose us pins. we lost last game by 5 pins which
i should have had in that last game but didnt because of my poor mental game.
this wont happen again struggle or no i will keep my head in the game.
it was a bad night but i learned something a painfull lesson but those are
the ones u remember. i shot a 170 214 and 176 in a league where im averaging
217 . aargh !!!!

That would never happen if you were throwing DYNOTHANE. What's an atomsick charge.

I can relate, how bout 707, 3 nights later 578, same shot, same ball, same lane reaction just let my timing and foot work at home, must have picked up the bag with the "weed eater stuff" in it my mistake. Felt like I was wearing my shoes on the wrong feet, barely could get to the line and was still remaining verticle. I guess why this is why we do this for small change and the guys Sunday on TV do it for a living, huh Jim. We have an excuse, we're almost good, lol.

Wow i can chime in here, on a nite when big Norm B. shot an 804 for 3 and 1092 for four on the pair next to me (left a 10 pin on 2nd ball in 10th for 288 last game and had a 10pin in the middle for a 279 3rd game) I couldn't even break 600.  O but I know why, my Zr40 isn't here yet and he had all Dyno stuff to shoot with, just unfair!  He used a High Energy, which is amazingly long and nice strong back ends. It was litterally getting longer than my plastic ball that i reverted to on strike balls.  Unreal I tell you.
