Threshold coverstock question
« on: July 27, 2006, 11:31:06 PM »
I see that this is a next generation coverstock.  Have we seen the end of the Soaker coverstock - or is this not the new High end ball?

Hey BA, What about the Forums?  It would be nice to have them as well. The Threshold will be a nice addition though.

Does the new cover still need the classic "Soaker" break-in period?

I opted for a forward roll drilling 'cause y'all scared me... Hope to use it this weekend!

It not being a soaker cover I do not think it will get stronger as time passes. If it does we're all going to be finding a new "Threshold" to keep the ball in play.

Phil you've done it again !!! The bowling world is now been given notice.

The cover on the Threshold is unlike anything out there on the market today. I'm not sure if you are all aware, but when Dyno-Thane moved to Columbia, they were able to make this new cover by using BOTH Storm and Columbia resins to blend them into one new coverstock. Phil himself told me at a trade show recently. This ball hits a ton and would be a great addition to anyone's arsenal.
