how good is the CM?
« on: January 25, 2006, 03:59:26 PM »
how does it compare to the vertigo? im really thinking about getting a CM? I currently own a vertigo that  seems to have died out on me. im looking at the CM as a replacement.  my typical shot is down and in from the outside, 2nd dowel to be precise.  I also own an rsx which is currently my favorite ball as it matches up so well for me.  with my down and in style, the rsx is clean on the front, holds the line and snaps back towards the pocket. if i get a CM, how would the reaction be, with the style that i have mentioned? i know it would be hard to reccomend a ball without seeing how i throw, but your opinion whether it be specific or in general about the CM is most welcome.

also, is the CM a solid and pearl mixture? is it also a medium RG ball? with the down and in shot that i am comfortable with, will the CM work well on heavy oil with my stroker style? I havent tried a DT ball yet, the CM could be my first. would i go wrong with the CM or is it really a good ball? thanks.

One of the major difference between the CM and the Vertigo is that the former wouldn't "die out on you" so soon. You may expect at least a hundred games more with the CM before it loses its reaction. But with a warm water bath it hooks like new again.

I'm not sure if this ball would suit your down-and-in style. But as you're good with the Vertigo a little polish on the CM may do the job.

Just my own opinion.
