The Thing and Inferno
« on: May 19, 2003, 09:25:34 PM »
I currently own an Inferno, but was looking to pick up the Thing.  Can someone advise me on how these balls compare and contrast?  My stats are in the profile.  Thanks.

the thing,is the ball
i put the pin below the ring finger and at 1'oclock

make sure to put the mas bias,in line with pap,and pin
this really works well for me,i'm a cranker, and usually
shot 17 to 10,it works well med.to oily,
it doesn't like dry lanes, thats for your inferno

I will agree with that, at least my Inferno, the way I have it drilled, is not for a lighter oil pattern at all.  I also have a medium to high rev rate which makes this ball really move on the backs.

I heard/thought the thing was a similar type of ball in that it OFFERS control to the bowler.
