Thing Lives @ MS state tournament
« on: May 18, 2008, 08:26:43 AM »
I used my Thing Lives to shoot a 272 at the Missississippi state tournament yesterday.  After a 460 set in singles, I moved a pair over for doubles and started with the front 9, then 6/6.  I could barely pick up the ball in the tenth frame.

An awful day of bowling for me, but the 272 sure was nice.

No kidding.  And believe it or not, I found a nice line with the TL the last game and shot 199.  My math says that only leaves about 260 pins for the first two games.  I moved around, switched balls, had more than a few lousy shots anyway.

I've been away from bowling for about two months with work.  I threw three games about two weeks ago, three more on Monday, and another three on Friday.  460 was about right considering how practice went.

I hear you, shelley. Been there, done that, will probably do that again.
