No, but I thought I saw "medium oil" being thrown around somewhere.  Looking at the website again, I see I am mistaken.  Might have seen it somewhere else.

And none of this "it's a monster on medium oil" stuff, "oil monster" doesn't usually mean the same thing.

We at Dynothane have not said one word about the balls performance in our marketing literature. We may have mentioned how excited we are about the core cover combo and how we think it will really enhance the line. All the hype has come from the ball testers. This is the usual process we follow. BTM and BJ have both reviewed it. ABS has also reviewed it. All have their own opinion. I've learned years ago that one mans food is another mans poison. I have my own opinion on this gem. "It's gonna need polish"

Last I heard the test/seed balls were late because they USBC has been slow to approve equipment these days.  I just got mine two days ago.

No holes punched yet.  But soon I hope.

I was just at a ball expo in Montreal this week-end, and all I can say is that this ball is AMAZING! The tester using the Threshold had medium-high rev rates and medium ball speed, and he was swinging this ball from over 5th arrow out to the 5th board, and this ball still didn't roll-out. Hits solid and keeps the pins low. It took him 2 hours to finally get one tenpin.

Got to the shop tonight and there was a brown box from TX!!!

We laid out both balls and I got mine drilled but not finished (bevel, etc.).  Both myself and the shop's owner will be trying these out on Thursday during our practice session...can't wait!!!!!!

Used it up in Montreal at the Expo tournamnet, 214, 249, 299, 258 for 1020 and led the event. Used the same ball the whole tournament. Had lots of tour players in the event so it was a blast and by the way the brackets started in Game 2
Pin 3 3/8 cg 4 and CAP unders the thumb. I put some polish.

lefty left a 10 pin, more than likely too much ball for the pattern, Phil you gotta quit turning it so much, give the pins a break.

We were able to force phil on the demo of the ball to play about 4 and half arrow. but after that phil couldn`t get the ball far enough left.

Well I got the throw this little pill last night and DHAMN!  We had our lane guy put out a special longer pattern for us (5ft longer) for our practice session last night.  John and I both drilled our Thresholds fairly similar though I went with a high pin as compared to his low pin just because of our styles.  Since I have most of my agressive equipment at the house for the summer (short sport shot) I only had my Agent to compare against.  Well the Agent at full speed needed to be squared off or I had to slow way down if I wanted to move in a bit.  If I got fast or tugged the Agent it would litterly back up.  Well I had messed with the surface of my Threshold and took it to 4000 prior to bowling.  With this surface the ball didn't want to read correctly and it was a bit lazy around the corner.  Trip to the spinner to take the surface down to 2000 and the beast came alive on this shot.  Ball picked up nicely and really made a hard charge through the oil.  Both John and I were really impressed on the balls abilities on the fresh oil compared to our other equipment.  Ball hits incredibly hard and was very forgiving on the tweeked shot we were bowling on.  I really want to compare this ball against my Sniper and Pure Energy...but that will have to wait till next week.

So far a winner and I can see why everyone was excited about its release.

Me personally...yes, it would be way to much ball for me at 800!!!

However, John utilized his in box finish and was able to play the lanes very similar to my line.
