Have any of you Dyno-Thane guys...
« on: July 09, 2005, 01:35:39 PM »
Taken a Vendetta Black Solid below box surface???  I have one set up 4 X 3 with a weight hole on my axis point (PAP - 4 7/8 over 1/8 up).  The ball seemed pretty aggressive at the box 800, ended up polishing it, and thats what the surface is at right now.  I was toying with the idea of making the surface dull again..and possibly take it down to 400 or 600.  I just wanted to see if anyone has done this and if they liked the reaction they got out of it.

The main reason I want to take it down past the box 800 is it kind of overlapped my Bully before I polished it.  After I polished it, it overlapped a handful of other balls I already had.

Thanks for any help!

I'd just sell all the other balls it overlaps.  Why have 2-4 or more balls that do the same thing.  Fewer to carry around also.

I was tempted to get the solid but even drilled mild (5x5) my Particle pearl is almost too strong for the conditions I see around here.

Funny you mention that...I've been toying with that idea for a few days now...just try and simplify things down.  That's why I asked about taking the Vendetta's surface down.  Of the stuff I would like to hold on to, I really have nothing besides the Bully for heavier oil.  And to be honest with you, I don't feel like messing around with the Bully's cover to accommodate really heavy soup.
