Title: Wanting a Crisis
Post by: obie859300 on June 01, 2004, 05:10:36 AM
I have recently purchased 2 Barrage bowling balls and have been doing well
with both balls. The only thing about them is they still hook a little too much when the lanes get dry, i have been looking at the Crisis and it seems to hook a little less. Our lanes here in Texas  where I bowl are usually very dry. So I was wondering if this ball would be a good choice for me. I have been impressed with the Dyno-thane balls so far I have raised my avg 5 pins late in the season but I'm still needing a ball that wont over react on dry lanes any help would be appreciated.   Robert C

Yes, the Crisis is much more ball than the Barrage.

The Barrage is one of the least hooking resin balls on the market.  If these balls are hooking too much you'll want to consider finding some solid or pearlized urethane (i.e. Red Pearl Hammer).

The Barrages were made for dry.  I can only use them on extreme dry.  I'm curious how these are drilled and how you throw them.
