Title: What would I like

Med speed, med revs.  Benchmark ball is Pearl Bomb 4x4 drilling.

What would fit me in the DT line.  Something weaker/stronger than the Bomb.

by checking your profile, you already have a great collection of some pretty good stuff...One of my favorites is the Thing Returns, check out some of the ball reviews, you might like this one. je

I read your profile and am wondering why you consider 298's and 299's loser scores?  I see you threw a 297 on 01/08/2002.  CHOKE

You will Shocker...just keep working hard and the scores will come (most of the time when you least expect it).

SrKegler - Hope you were kidding in your profile because I was.  297 is one heck of a game.  A 60+ year old bowled a 297 a week ago.  He is carrying almost a 220 average.  Very smooth and consistent bolwer.

I should have thrown your Pearl Bomb to give you a good comparison...

A little stronger would probably be the Element, a little weaker would be the Thing Returns.  I haven't had much luck with my Element (still ), so I'd be inclined to suggest a Thing with a bit of surface.

Thanks guys.  At the risk of being labeled a sandbagger, I was trying for a 298 or 299 when I hit the 297.  Already had 800 sown up, just wanted to get more plaques for the wall.

I don't think I'll see enough oil for the Anomaly, will probably give the Element a try.  I've got a couple of Storms that will fill in under the Bomb.
