Got a care package from Fed - X a few minutes ago, new pair of Dyno Shufflers, what a great looking pair of shoes to go with my two pair of TU's.
Oh and 2 Thresholds to boot. Now its time to get down and dirty making some holes and try out my new soft brown Roos.

Threshold pics by any chance? We've seen a dozen posts about how great it is and how good it looks but no one but staffers have seen it in person. Make with the visuals (send me one so I can see for myself).

Got my Threshold yesterday... too bad the sport shot changed to 35 feet!
3.5 in pin-to-pap parallel to ring finger or a 4.5 pin-to-pap pin over or in the ring finger ... both CAPs in the B position. This would be a Long Sport or Heavy/Long THS ball of course.
Does drilling into the pin work now that Columbia makes the balls? I heard that the pin is actually part of their wieght block and that the differential is affected... I think I am paraphrasing correctly.

The pin indicates the top of the weight block, but a hole near the pin hits the same top of the weight block. Since this is a single density core it really should not matter.

The pin is a plastic piece attached to the weight block and is used to hold the thing in place when the ball is manufatured. I don't think anyone makes the pin an actual part of the weight block, made from the same weight block stuff. The Columbia and Track balls I have use plastic pins.
And I agree with Phil, drilling near the pin, unless very shallow, will drill into the top of the core anyway.
