The Allure is part of the first Ebonite release produced by Brunswick.  The cover is Traxion SF, and it’s finished at 3000, and then Crown Factory Compound is applied.  The Allure Core is a new design.  The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was that the ball was not as heavily polished as I would expect with a pearl.  In fact, it almost looked as if the cover had a haze on it.  When I threw it, the Allure had a strong resemblance to the Futura, but with more length.  It had the same heavy forward roll and smooth change of direction at the break point. Compared to the Omni, I have to line up about 4 to 5 boards further right on the approach and 2 to 3 boards further right on the lane.  The Allure gets easy length and offers very good control of the pocket.  Those with rev dominant games will find the Allure to be very effective on most if not all league conditions and broken down sport shots.

The Ebonite Allure is very clean thru the front and has monster kick in the backend. It doesn't read early with the out of box surface (500, 1000, 3000, Siaair / Crown Factory Compound) saving all it's energy for the back end. Open your angles and strike away. Excellent hitting power especially with the DynamiCore Technology.. Be sure to check out Ebonite's website for more information.

Wow! Just WOW!

This ball has given me all I need when it comes to bowling on your THS. I drilled mine pin down and left the cover out of the box finish and couldn't be any happier with the results of this ball. I have averaged 267 since purchasing this ball and would recommend to anyone that likes to play the lanes a little straighter with speed and hand, speed with no hand, softer and likes to hook it more and even someone that has speed and rev rate and likes to curve it. It really matches up to a lot of different styles.

Only things that seem to be a "dislike" would be on the fresh. It will take a half a game or so before the ball starts to see the pattern great. So a touch of surface adjustment to the out of box finish and you should be great. 3000 or 4000 pad should do the trick.

The Ebonite Allure is clean through the front part of the lane and reads the midlane for a strong backend reaction. When this ball hits the pocket it continues to drive through the pins. The Allure is the perfect ball for league and in tournament play. This ball is very versatile and will react great on all lane conditions. The Allure is the first ball out of my bag and it is a must have! The purple color scheme of this ball makes it fun to throw and it looks great when its going down the lane! Overall this ball will not disappoint the Ebonite Allure is a must to have in your bag!

Likes: Allure Pearl: The Allure pearl is one of the most versatile pearl balls I’ve ever thrown. It’s perfectly responsive to hand position changes, allowing for multiple angles of play, and offers controllable reaction that is great for challenging patterns and THS alike. Most recommended for medium to low-volume and burn conditions, but a little bit of surface will make it great for fresh or high-volume conditions as well. The Allure is a must-have for tournament players.

This ball really surprised me. From the first shot I could see that it was the type of ball that I could play up the boards with and still allow me to save all the power for down lane. Shorter and medium patterns are where this ball has shined for me but it still holds it’s own on longer patterns as well. Quite similar to the Hammer Rhodman Pearl in my opinion so how can you go wrong???
