I got this ball as a present and as soon as i got it drilled i noticed a dramatic change in my game.  since i have gotten it i have bowled more 200's then any of my previous balls.  If you go out and buy this ball and you have never used a reactive ball you will be afraid of the huge hook level of this ball.  How ever hard I throw it it will hook like a monster!! I give this ball a 10 out of 10

wow what a ball! i swore i would never buy a ebonite ball again after the tombstone. but after reading all the good things people were saying about it i had one punched out for me. this ball needs head oil to stay in play once the oil is broken down bag it. my first 3 games i shoot 645 on 40ft oil with cleaned backends.with outside 4 boards dry.what carry i had messengers danceing all over the place.i did leave a few corners but no more than usual.if you want control and plenty of hook this is your med oil ball.all i can say is wow!!!

I drilled this one 4x 3 3/8.  This ball revved up while still in my hand.  For a stong ball I still got good length and a strong arch into the pocket.  This is not a ball that likes a down and in shot, she wants to swing wide, and come back hard.  I left it in box condition and on your typical house shot I would stand on 35, hit the 18 board out to 6 and crush the pocket.  A very good offering from ebonite.

If your looking for a ball for medium to oily conditions this is it.  I have had this ball
for about four months now and it's still my #1 ball out of the bag.  I'm a tweener with med revs and
med speed.  I have this drilled for maximum hook according to the instructions. (pin is under the ring finger
with cg kicked out and bomb at 45 deg)  When I first got this ball I couldn't keep it on the
lane. After I polished it up with Storm Proacta Shine this ball finally matched my style.
I stand 20 to 25 and try to hit 7 or 8.(I'm left handed)  When I miss wide (by a couple of boards)
it seems to always come back. Likewise when I tug it a little it seems to hold.
If your looking for a great league ball look no further.      P.S. this is absolutely the hardest hitting ball i have ever seen.

Hi i am a avid Ebonite user and i just recently purchased a Adrenaline and i got to try it out in practice before my league starts and it is a very nice ball for a medium-heavy pattern. I slides to far for a heavy slick but if it is heavy and a short pattern and has a backup that is semi dry it will crunch the pocket. I think it is a awesome ball!!! way to go Ebonite!!!! Bowl to Win!

Wow that was a terrible review by me!  I am still using the ball, and i love the reaction of it till this day.  I have it drilled to go longer and then snap to the pocket. I think it is a very versatile ball for me, and with a change of hand position i can get it to go longer. I can read the lane well with this ball cause it has a smooth transition to me. i know it is a older ball but it is a reliable one to me!
Oil is served Best with fingers!
Why does the 8 Pin laugh at me!

This is my first Ebonite ball since 1997 but I have heard great things about the Apex line and decided that the Adrenaline best suited my style and the gap I had in my equipment. I used this ball on a house shot and after a league so there was cary down and this ball charged through the carrydown like it wasn't even there. I had my best reaction with this ball from a line from about 17 and out to 6. The Adrenaline gets down the lane pretty good, makes a sharp turn and keeps a good arc into the pocket. If you make a mistake with this ball it had better be right because this ball doesn't want to skate in the oil, it wants to turn hard in the dry. I will post another review once I have tried it on a couple other conditions and a few different houses.

I got my Adrenaline a couple of weeks ago, and I have to say, I am a shade disappointed with mine.  Could just be all of the great things I've heard about it thus far.  Anyway mine is 15 lbs., drilled with the bomb at 45 degrees according to Ebonite's drill sheet.  Drilling is designed to go a bit longer than a stacked leverage.  Have used the Adrenaline in two different houses, two different leagues, and it doesn't seem to hook as much as I thought it might.  Skates quite a bit for me on oil, and even seems to be outhooked by my Vortex 2 sanded, and Icon (I do have more surface on the Icon, though).  The backend is smooth and predictable.  Carry is average from what I have seen so far.  I tried a gray scotch brite pad on it to get some more hook, but haven't thrown it yet with the gray pad.  Don't want to go much more than that, because the ball is designed to get good length, with a powerful backend, and I don't want to to take that away from it.  Apparently this is a great ball for a lot of people, but I haven't had that kind of success with it yet.  Hopefully things will turn around with it, and if they do, I'll let you know.

This ball is a pretty food ball for expeirienced bowlers.  I had my ring finger hole drilled about an inch below the pin and it got me awsome results.

I got my Adrenaline at the begining of my season,
It took me about 20 games to get it fully broken and
now once it was broken in i am now averaging 190
Compared to other seasons.  This ball hooks like a beast,
I got it drilled for label Leverage and i recieve awesome
results.  Once you hit the pocket you recieve great results,
so now i don't leave as many ringing 10 or 7 pins.

ive had this ball for a little less then a year now, and i am quite impressed with its abilities thus far.

Carrydown does NOT effect this ball what so ever. not made for too much oil, and better suited for a med-higher rev player, but anyone can throw it successfully, thats the great thing about it

My specs I am Right handed power stroker about 320 rpm, about 17 mph, pap 5 3/4" over, 1/2" up.

Ball's specs, 15lb. 3oz top weight before drill, 3" pin, drilled 4x4 weight hole on the pap.

This ball revs up early and reads the midlane better than any ball I have thrown. The back end is easily adjusted with wrist position, and release. The adrenaline hits hard even when the lanes are too dry for it.

I don't care for the reaction I got when it was polished, it tended to skate through the breakpoint and not turn the corner on the backend. I suggest keeping the ball dull unless you have less speed and or much more hand than I.

Over all this is my go to ball on fresh oil, it plays very forgiving and doesn't over/under a lot.

16 lb. Apex Adenaline
pin out 4 inches
top unknown

Layout:
4 x 5
Pin above and right of ring finger, label just on positive side of grip line. Bomb in weak position, thumb neg. quadrant.

This is one of the best hitting dull balls I have thrown. I throw pretty hard, and hit the ball plenty. This ball never rolls out! Always a strong, rolling arc. Good on soupy stuff. I used it recently in a tournament where everyone was having a rough time getting the ball to wrinkle. People were squaring up on the gutter. I stayed inside on 25 over 15 at the arrows, and it was rolling up around 35-40 feet and turning over very nicely. Light hits were all gone-swish the rack out clean. Solid hits tripped 10s every time. I was getting great reaction...too bad I kept short arming it thinking it wouldn't hook. Finally stopped doing that the last game and shot very well.

Good oil ball, will be my first out at Knoxville. I'm even thinking about an Addiction or Agression.

Another A+ Ebonite. Definitely marketed for what it was designed and developed to do. A ball that does what it says.
